Schedule a Meeting

We will come to your home, free of charge, to meet you, introduce ourselves and evaluate your situation. In this meeting we can get a pretty good idea of what it will take in order to get you taken care of and moving forward.

We ask that if you or your family members want to keep any items, that they be removed prior to our meeting so that we can accurately assess what there is to be sold.

Setting up the sale

Once we evaluate your home and have a signed contract, we go to work for you! We will organize, set up, advertise, price, and run the sale for you.

Our team of professionals will look through the items that you wish to sell and determine their market value. Beyond our personal expertise, we also take the time to research items of value by looking at online pricing and auction results from databases we subscribe to. In some cases we will reach out to our network of professionals who specialize in specific items.

Because our fee for running the sale on your behalf is based on a percentage of the overall sale, we have an incentive and fiduciary responsibility to sell your items at the best price.

Making sure the sale is successful

To make sure that your sale is successful and has a large turnout of customers, we will do the following to attract buyers:

  • Promoting your estate sale on specific websites which shoppers look at weekly

  • Send out our own email blast to our private list of estate sale shoppers

  • take photos of many of the unique, collectable, and large ticket items for sale in your home to attract prospective buyers and create excitement and a sense of urgency to come to your estate sale. These pictures will be used in emails, website advertising, and social media marketing.

  • Post directional signage in the neighborhood to direct buyers to the sale (where allowed)

Final Clean Up

If you choose to have us to the final clean out process of your estate sale once the sale has ended, the process is as follows:

  • You will have 1 day to claim any items you wish to keep that did not sell

  • We will donate every item we can to a charitable group of your choosing

  • We will recycle every item we can that can not be donated

  • The remaining items will be disposed of properly. (We adhere to all local regulations and guidelines for responsible disposal)
